We are excited to announce that Irvin Schein has been elected by the partnership of Minden Gross LLP to its Executive Committee.

As a member of Minden Gross LLP for more than 35 years, Irvin is the Chair of the Litigation Group and is a recognized mediator and arbitrator. He previously served on the firm’s Executive Committee for over 10 years and currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors of Meritas and as the chair of its North American litigation section.

Irvin maintains a broad litigation practice, with a wide breadth of knowledge in a number of industries. He has appeared at all levels of courts in Ontario on commercial disputes as well as defamation actions.

Irvin earned his LLM in Alternative Dispute Resolution from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2014. He has substantial experience in arbitration and mediation proceedings and is listed as an arbitrator by the Canadian Commercial Arbitration Centre based in Montreal, QC. He is a prolific blogger, posting on irvinschein.com about litigation matters, access to justice, and legal news.
