Leasing lawyer, Michael Horowitz, spoke on Advanced Real Estate Metrics and the Impact on Restaurant Income with Grant Kosowan from Orange National Retail Group Inc. as part of the the 7th Annual Canadian Restaurant Investment Summit (CRIS) and Canadian Restaurant Operators Summit (CROS).
The presentation focused on demonstrating how real estate inefficiencies can dramatically impact EBITDA and the overall value of a business through the application of growth & positioning, to lease terms, to renewal negotiations.
The CRIS Summit covered investment and real estate trends, while the CROS Summit focused on boosting operational knowledge and ran at the same time as the CRIS Summit. CRIS/CROS was held in Toronto on March 2, 2016 at the Hockey Hall of Fame.
