Minden Gross LLP is pleased to announce that tax lawyer Samantha Prasad has been appointed to the Race and Equality Task Force for Meritas, the premier global alliance of independent law firms, to provide meaningful leadership in response to the international demand for racial and gender equality.
The Task Force will be comprised of individuals from different regions, and a range of race, gender, and age. Its goal is to identify specific actions Meritas can take to end racism and discrimination both within the organization and in society overall. Samantha will act as an organizational leader, serving as a liaison for Minden Gross LLP.
Samantha has been heavily involved in the growth of Meritas. She has served as a member of the Board of Directors, the Meritas Leadership Institute, and Meritas Executive Committee for Member Relations & Marketing. She is a longtime member of the Meritas Canada Tax Group.
