Ryan is an associate in the Business Law Group.  He has a broad corporate commercial practice with a particular emphasis on commercial financing and private business transactions.

In his financing practice, Ryan acts regularly for both lenders and borrowers on a wide range of banking and other lending transactions often involving complex ownership structures and multiple jurisdictions.  In his private business practice, Ryan assists his clients with business reorganizations, advises them on private equity investments (both investor and target), and works with them through all stages of the purchase or sale of a business.  In addition to his transactional work, Ryan works frequently with start-up companies and is experienced with various types of commercial agreements.

Away from work Ryan enjoys playing recreational hockey and basketball and spending weekends at Lake Simcoe with his wife, 2 boys and their dog.
