Rachel is an Associate in the Wills and Estates Group with a focus on personal tax and estate planning. She concentrates her practice on the preparation of public and private wills, powers of attorney for personal care and property, establishing testamentary trusts, and estate planning and administration.
Rachel has a BA in psychology and began her legal career as a Tax lawyer before moving into the estate planning area. The combination of her education and work experience allows her to easily relate to clients while providing complicated, highly-detailed advice. She enjoys working with people, and is not only able to develop an estate plan, but is also able to provide sound tax-planning advice and implement complicated trusts to meet the clients’ needs. Advising on an estate plan and a will can be a lengthy and sometimes emotional process that involves asking clients personal questions and discussing very personal information; however, it is Rachel’s compassion, patience, confidence, and professionalism that allow her to make clients feel at ease.
While at law school, Rachel received the John J. Robinette Scholarship for academic excellence and graduated in the top 10% of her class. Rachel is co-chair of the Minden Gross Bettering Yourself In Business series for professional women.
